RICHMOND — Call it a brash attempt at modernist art if you wish. The title is "Cowboy Journalism. The rock was found on a landscaping job in spring of 2004 while I was clearing "debris" some earth moving equipment had churned up in order to plant a lawn later. As situated in this photo it is about 5 inches long and 3.5 inches tall. It didn't need much cleaning or work at all.
