To Whom It May Concern
At The Town Voice  Website

Greetings, I'm Arlon Staywell.  I am the "managing editor" of The Town Voice.  You have perhaps gathered by now it is some sort of newspaper art.

I have substantial experience debating.  I debated for my high school and my college.  I debated many of those "hot button" issues that lately aren't so hot apparently.  It has been my good fortune to have received some of the best training in the science and the religion of it.  It's probably the quality of the combination that puts me where I am.

I've been posting what I consider important findings in many of those debates on various computer based discussion groups for many years.  I started with a 300 baud modem.  That was obviously quite some time ago.  I have much faster equipment now.  I maintained personal websites with all the "right" answers gathered together as neatly and interclickably as I could.  The latest stage of that obsession is The Town Voice.

I hope you enjoy it.  I hope you qoute me in your debates.  I had great fun debating.  I believe you can have great fun as well.  It should be harmless fun unless you get really careless or sloppy.  The "Mission Statement" is very serious sounding and it is after all some serious stuff, but you can probably go more lightly without much trouble, I believe.

Please note the mailing address has changed.  The new P.O. Box is closer to the new location.

I had more "autobiographical notes" on the old "Town Voice" and "Delicate Balance" websites.  I am building an autobiography here which will eventually have all the relevant parts from those and then some perhaps.  Click here to read what I have so far.

Have a good day.
